Seocho Galbi has been in business for almost 40 years, situated behind Nambu Terminal and just a short walk away from Seoul Arts Center, serving prime cuts of beef galbi, tenderloin, and bulgogi. It's a popular spot amongst guests on their way to the Arts Center who are looking for a good meal before the performance, as well as local residents in Seocho-dong. The restaurant features a modern looking wooden interior and dim lighting to create a cozy atmosphere.
There is a wide variety of meat available, from Jeju black pork belly to sogalbi to bulgogi, along with many prime cuts of traditional Korean beef, hanwoo. Besides the bulgogi, which is cooked over a brass pan, the meat is grilled over charcoal, giving it a smokier flavor. Seocho Galbi also offers a special individual meal menu, with dishes such as galbitang, dwenjang jjigae (a soybean paste taste stew), bibimbap, and bulgogi, for those looking for a more affordable but still high-quality option.
